This male Bobolink was one of about 15 birds present along Hay's Canyon Road east of Eagleville in the Surprise Valley, Modoc County. Bobolinks have been noted around the area in the past but it's not sure whether or not they've bred in this area before. All birds present seemed to be singing on territory.
